This is the set of rules for playing the game. It covers all the game concepts and mechanisms, all the rules, regular game play, solitaire game play, and game setup. This booklet also contains several examples of play that cover movement, combat, and scroll use.

The game includes 108 cards: 104 are playable scroll cards and 4 are reference cards for the players. The reference cards are shown below and are also printed on the back of the rule books.
